The FTTH Council Middle East and North Africa is an industry organization with a mission to accelerate FTTH adoption by all broadband stakeholders through information and promotion, in order to accelerate the availability of fiber-based, ultra-high-speed access networks to consumers and businesses. We promote FTTH because it delivers a flow of new services that enhances the quality of life, contributes to a better environment and boosts competitiveness.

Our vision : an enhanced life enabled by Fibre to the Home

Since its inception in 2011 by its founding members companies:

MOSECO –  represented by Faris Awartani - Chairman of the Board

PRYSMIAN Group – represented by Faiq Shahrouri -  Treasurer & Board Member

ALCATEL-LUCENT – represented by Gamal Hegazy - Board Member

MEFC – represented by Dr Suleiman Al-Hedaithy - Board Member

– represented by Hosein Badran - Board Member

more than 50 members and four committees joined the council.    

FTTH Council MENA witnessed another successful year during 2014 with several achievements to promote the FTTH deployment in the MENA region thanks to the continuous support of the members of the board.
